So, I gave that one a whirl the other weekend…
Where does one find weapons in the game? I mean, I found the vehicles, but I noticed at the beginning other players had weapons and were killing each other with them (and me eventually), but I didn’t see any way to get them?
They spawn on the ground in structures.
It’s a lot of fun. I’ve been playing it for several weeks now.
Rounds can be fairly quick.
Single player, Duo’s and Squads (4 folks). It can be really rewarding with a team that’s working together, but sometimes things just go south quickly and that’s ok, because you just get into a new round super fast thanks to the massive userbase. Matchmaking takes just a few seconds to gather the required 100 peeps.

Funny thing is I’ve never really been into any of these fad games. Ask me what Dota 2 is and I’ll give you a blank stare. 
I’d almost consider PUBG to be a “tactical shooter” when played as a team, and there it is going straight to the top! Very strange phenomenon indeed. I like it.

This one is a bit different. I wouldn’t necessarily call it a fad game just because of it’s numbers.
It combines a nice game engine with the best bits (sans zombies) of the games we’ve all been playing for the last 10 years and it gives the player an achievable goal that can be had in around 30 minutes. And if you die, then you can try to do it again super fast.
The weapons, attachments and gear are always fun to interchange and their locations are always random. Their abilities are fun to figure out as well.
Love that there are vehicles, too.
Not only are there vehicles but they nailed the way passengers shoot from said vehicles! Kinda like what this guy is doing 
…
I love the animation where the player practically holds half his body out the window to take a shot LOL! It almost looks comical but man is it a lot of fun.
LOL! VLDL on PUBG … they’ve had the gist of it bang on since inception! 
… PUBG logic … reminds me of some Monty Python sketches …
