hmm … ’ Mostly Negative ’

this one is entertaining

Dear devs, we gathered round the track,
ready for glory, ready to attack.
The trailers were shining, the hype was loud,
but the launch felt more like driving through the cloud.

The FFB sleeps like it had a long night,
the AI sees every player as a target on sight.
The graphics feel shy, they refuse to impress,
and the menus are stuck, is now time to stress?

The cars drift around like they forgot their weight,
the replays feel sluggish and never look great.
Players jumped in with excitement and cash on the line,
and now half of them ask for refunds while pretending they are fine.

VR fans sit waiting with nothing to try,
the headset stays dark until you say hi.
A racing sim without VR feels odd from the start,
like something important is missing right in the heart.

Still, dear devs, we cheer from the stands,
hoping patches will save this from our trembling hands.
Today I click the thumb that points down from above,
but I hope I can switch it to one filled with love.
I will not refund, because I see what this could be,
a racer with real promise, once it finds its identity.

Welp unfortunate news. I did request and recive a refund today for the game.

I had slim hopes for it but this kinda dashed them.

I feel mostly for the staff that ‘had to be let go’.

Why does it seem like it always happens just before Christmas?

Well… seems like I FINALLY learned my lesson and didn’t bite the hook. How Ian Bell EVER gets a crack at another title will be amazing to me. (or somehow he’s the master of all snake oil salesman ever.)

Still very happy with AC and mods for now… ESPECIALLY now that I’m starting to run it in Quest3 full time.

I stayed away from this…I find this video somewhat honest, but frankly not sure why it was released as a “Non Early Access Game” when they absolutely knew it was heavily bugged

Money ran out. Ian Bell doing his usual grifting and frankly, they had that Nazi working for them so I skipped it on that basis alone.

last year I was really excited for PMR, right up my alley what I love about simracing and a promised single player focus too… Alas none of it came true.

AMS2 is still the place to be for historic content and they are now working on a career mode apparently!

Bummer,Apparently I just missed the Steam Spring $ale on this…Oh Well…Looks like LMU will be my Go To for the Foreseeable future.

I was really excited when I first heard the announcement for PMR, but the release state made me decide not to get it. Well, I tried the free weekend and have decided to hold out for the time being. TBH, I have enough racers to keep me occupied.

I do hope PMR gets better in the future because I really love many of the available cars, especially the older GTs like the Storm and Viper.
