Just a little reminder that quake 2 was released today. 28 years ago and is still in my top 5 games of all time. Especially with the split screen mode on the remaster.

I remember as if it was yesterday.
The first impression of rocket launcher explosions being less brutal than Q1.
The soundtrack delivering that energy again.
When we learned how to do double jumps to reach high places.
Bought my first good pair of headphones for this game to hear the footsteps and I still got it.
