As mentioned in the comments under the YouTube video:
There is another option that allows using Virtual Desktop with a wired connection. ETHERNET over USB-C. But it requires purchasing an adapter. I purchased one for $25 that includes a power-injection option, so I can play essentially unlimited by the Quest’s battery.
This is my variant to this solution (as I was struggling to get the power-injecting variant to provide enough power to keep the Quest battery charged while playing in VR):
If you are using an USB-C docking station (to connect your office laptop to your home monitor setup for example) you can use that to supply your Quest headset with both a wired ethernet connection and a power connection to charge the Quest battery so that you can play forever (in Virtual Desktop).
