I setup a 20x time race at Daytona with 3 weather slots, 4 PM start. Partly cloudy - heavy rain - sunny. That way the rain came at night. It all went perfectly well, except for weather transitions. Well, not so much the weather behavior as the surface of the track. When the rain began, it wasn’t too bad and I decided to stay out one more lap than the AI. Bad mistake because in about a third of a lap, the track went from lightly slippery to ice skating rink. So, the takeaway was if you are going to use weather changes and high rates of time acceleration, get your wets when the AI do.

The second race with the LMP3s in the GermanSimRacing league. Again a rather low turnout, only 8 drivers found their way onto the track yesterday. Still quite happy with my 4th place overall

Some AMS2 Group C action. These are my favorite cars to drive atm. Especially on the late 80s and early 90s tracks, like Spa, Monza, Suzuka, Hockenheim, and Imola.

I had a wonderful 4 or 5 lap dual with the virtual Geoff Brabham last night me in the Sauber C9, and he in the Nissan at Monza.
Watching replays last night I noticed that the C9 has the most lovely turbine wine when it comes by, very reminiscent of the P-51’s gun barrel whistle. Amazing work the Reiza did on the C9.

Another race in Le Mans this week in Le Mans Ultimate. With my Aston Martin GTE I drove in one of the lower, if not lowest, split, and battle for positions 5 to 8. Launching fast at start is still not my forte. This time I waited on a Ferrari who quickly out-accelerated me then.
End of race was still interesting, as I got close to the car in front of me, but ultimately could not take advantage of my better speed throughout the corners.

And another low participation race with GermanSimRacing, LMP3 at Dayona, during a storm warning with a ton of rain at the start. No idea who added the wipers to the car, but for sure it was never tested during those conditions …
