I’ve shared before that I’m mentally maxed out on learning complex aircraft…but I can’t wait to buy the Strike Eagle.

Same, same. But the this and the ‘Spad’ will be day one purchases for me… I love moving mud

edit: on the plus side, with US aircraft the avionics and systems interfaces are similar enough that it flattens the learning curve.

The best thing about the Mud Hen is you get to bring a friend to share the workload and help you make bad decisions quicker :joy::+1:t3:

So for the wing pylons it flies off the rails and for the fuselage it gets dropped moments before ignition? Never thought about that, but should make sense, right? So… one more thing to be modeled correctly (nice to see it is)…

Wasn’t too excited about the -E so am rereading “strike eagle: flying the F-15E in the gulf war”- Smallwood…while on the road: stoking my burners for it again now.

Yes, Missiles on the fuselage stations are ejected from the A/C the same way bombs are.

On rails the missiles fire the motor while still attached to the jet much the same way as a AGM-88 or AGM-65

I love the 15 would be nice to see this during the holidays, But i fully expect next year sometime.

The A-10 has kind a grown to slow for me, Still love it but have that need for speed, The Strike Eagle is just the bomb truck to replace the A-10 for me.
