RAZBAM F-15E

I read it in Hal 9000’s calm, mid-Atlantic accent and calculated, logical demeanor.

That’s going to be rather difficult without your space helmet, Dave.

So, more damage, less FPS…?
Actually a nice incentive to avoid getting hit!

Figured as much - first rule is, “if you don’t have to calculate/draw it, don’t”.

I think the comment up above about the ‘time’ spent was more to do with development time, not render time. How I took it. Gonna be fun module.

Considering the Polygon Resolution of the nose cone and doors,

You’re likely trading out the same amount of polys for the nose cone/doors for the internal antenna and bay details.

I thought the first rule was:

  1. We don’t talk about calculation/drawing.

In modern GFX Poly Count dont mean didly anymore,

You got RPGs with 2 Million Poly Character models running at 120 fps.

It’s about CPU / Draw Call Overhead, and since DX12/Vulkan, that’s not really an issue anymore either.

Now it’s about frame buffer size, especially with VR.

Just once I’d like to see one of those “everything is subject to change” disclaimers be used in full and we get like a 2021 F1 Mercedes instead of an F-15E.

Then we all race around the runways and taxiways at Rota!
