Looking forward to both, esp that map! I got plans for that baby!

EDIT: At least when we have some Mullet hairdo era assets. There are some must have assets (mods, 3rd party/free) out there that I really feel add something to the sim. But they cause random crashes :frowning:

Working out a way around it adds time.

That cockpit looks like a really good fit for my hunkus :+1: And the Hornet grip is going to be a perfect match for the front seat.

Count me in on some beta testing.

Some of the more historically accurate assets crash DCS. At least previous updates did (haven’t checked with the last two). I took them out just to get the thing finished! Ugh. Will re-insert at some point. May have to be a modified, slightly more modern version.

Interesting The WSO Flight Stick is different than Pilots?? I guess because some functions aren’t needed when you have two additional sticks?

At least USAF WSO’s still have flight sticks

Imagine sitting in the back of a navy plane with all the flight controls removed!

I don’t wanna be a party pooper, but they haven’t really shown any avionics “meat” yet, nor any hydraulics, electrical systems, FCS, engine modelling, departure from controlled flight, etc.

My money is on them still having a long road ahead of them.

Well they showed some A-A radar stuff a couple months ago. I don’t really expect a 2022 release tbh, but we’ll see what happens.

True, there’s that. That’s a tiny aspect, though.

I did find it a bit concerning that in both early sneak peak videos only AA radar/ADI/HSI/Map were shown
I’m hoping we’ll see more in the coming weeks

RAZBAMs PR kinda gives me vibes of a dude celebrating his marathon finish while he’s crossing the 10km line. I mean, It’s fine that it is taking long, the Mudhen is a beast to model. But all that talk of “soon”, I kinda feel like they are insulting everybodies intelligence.

So I was thinking[I Know this can be Dangerous] about this a little more today.
-First sneakpeak video was from RAZBAM themselves
-Second was from a DCS Beta Tester

Could it be that The StrikeEagle is in a more Complete State than being shown but The DCS Beta Build They are both using is in a State of Flux with some issues that prevent them from showing off more features that are in fact coded and working? :face_with_monocle:

I just can’t after all this development time believe RAZBAM would not have a more complete module and start releasing preview videos.
Also this is a gratuitous Opportunity to show off my Jane’s F-15E/F/A-18E and Falcon 4.0 Paraphernalia

I agree and think it’s close to release. I bet they’re going to release the Eagle and South Atlantic at the same time. In the Growling Sidewinder video he said “We finally have it coming very very soon I would imagine”. Later in the video he said again he hopes it will release very soon.

I can’t imagine after all these years with little updates on this stuff that Razbam would send a test build to a youtuber if they weren’t really close to public release.
