RAZBAM F-15E

Me too, except the castle switch/trim hat being reversed on the Harrier. Now why would they go and do that? Just so TM could release a Harrier stick a couple years down the road?

(Making fun of their release of the F-16 stick a couple years ago, as a new product in addition to the Warthog stick, even though they’re identical!)

I’ve always wondered that myself.

The only thing that I could ever come up with is that the Hornet, with auto trim, relegates the trim switch to a secondary position.

The Harrier, with manual trim, leaves it in the place most easily accessible for your thumb.

That makes a lot of sense considering how rarely (at least in DCS) that trim gets used in the Hornet. I mean, prior to take-off, during the break/before landing, and asymmetrical loading as necessary is about it.

I am loving the avionics and HOTAS interface from what we’ve seen so far. It’s very familiar from the Hornet, but with some of the quality of life perks of the Viper (for which I find the man-machine interface revolting with minor exceptions)

I’m all hyped for the Mudhen in DCS, but will we be able to transform our Strike Eagle into a flying pig?!?

Oh Man …What Great Memories this brings back…I really miss those in cockpit engine sounds. And although I Love Jester and all the neat features Heatblur brought to The TomCat…I wish He would make those “S H A CK”!!! calls like the Jane’s MudHen WSO would make during GroundPoubding…Hopefully RAZBAM can bring some of that back.

Using the M2000C as a test is okay - but is the F-15E development not far enough for it…?

Maybe they needed a proper flight model to see if their control approach can handle it.

The more they publish the more excited I am for the mudhen.
