…And today convenes the Mudspike Standards Council. I await the final report on these discrepancies!

This looks like a good map for bombing map objects as extra objectives, and the night lighting looks better too!

If I can refuel from a Victor K2 with a harrier I might never need to buy another flight sim add on.

Until…i can FLY the Victor.

@PaulRix in all honesty I’ve always preferred the Victor to the Vulcan. But I would fly the wings off of either given them in the sim.

It was more of a tongue in cheek reference to the Black Buck missions, which was the Victor K.2’s finest hour and main contribution to the Falklands war.

Argentina: It’s totally safe to invade the Malvinas! It will take the Brits months to get here…

I’ve been invited to an evening at RAF Cranwell next month hosted by the the royal institute of navigation. The guest speaker is Bob Tuxford. He was the captain of the Victor K2 that performed the last refuelling that brought Vulcan 607 home on black buck 1. I’ve briefly met him before at Bruntingthorpe Cold war Jets day but he is going to talk through the mission planning and navigation challenges which will be fascinating. I’m extremely lucky to be invited.
