I definitely do hate mosquitoes enough to get that, but truth be told sometimes flies have this way to keep pestering you at the worst moments…

High-powered lasers scare me more than actual firearms. My IR lasers (like a PEQ15 from Arma, for example) are stored with the batteries out when not in use, even when they’re mounted on the firearm. Too much risk of an eye injury by accidental activation with little warning.
No way I would trust one hooked up to an automated fire control system, cool as that would be.
That said, the Red Alert style Tesla Coil is absolutely awesome!

Anything more powerful than a pointer (5mW, IIRC) is illegal without a permit here… and good luck getting one unless you work for or own a research lab.
And yeah, I would trust a made in China high power laser with auto tracking and detection about as far as I could throw it.

It’s regulated here too, by the FDA, but still widely accessible.
