Red Bull Air Racing on MSFS2024

This is the hardest thing I have ever attempted to do in a flight sim. If racing “True to Life” (which is the only way to post a time) the tolerances are mere feet or degrees of roll or pitch. I literally have a plane and participate in a hobby where these limits were set as the foundation of what would become RBAR. And yet I find it impossible. My excuse is the use of a controller instead of a HOTAS. TBH though, I’ve watched the videos from competitive players and, hard though it is to admit, no equipment would make me that good. But here is why I am really posting about this. While browsing the MSFS forum I came across the RBAR discussion where the best players are posting their times and techniques. One player was anPetrovich777 (Andrey Solomykin). If you played Rise of Flight back in the day (or IL2 today), you likely know that name. He was the lead flight model developer. He later jumped ship to Asobo.

I have tried racing in MSFS2020 and 2024. While it is a fun and entertaining thing to do, I cant get serious with it. Its just too damn hard to get it right. Totally agree with you on this.
