Resource: Modex Numbers and Callsigns for Mission Building

Hi guys! Last year I compiled a resource of modex numbers/tail codes/serial numbers (and some callsigns) for a few DCS modules so I can make my missions more immersive. So far I’ve got the Hornet, Harrier, Tomcat, Skyhawk, Mirage, Tiger, and Spitfire. The Tiger and Mirage lists are unfinished, but the rest are fairly extensive: The Spit list has about 101 real tail codes/serial numbers from ADGB and 2TAF!

Here’s the Google Sheets link: Linky.
Hope they help some of you mission builders out there!

I assume these are the squadron callsigns not personal callsigns. i.e. callsign plus side number. If so,

VFA-31 is FELIX, VFA-32 is GYPSY. VFA-14 is CAMELOT

There were some callsign changes during the transition from Tomcats (VF) to Rhinos (VFA). VF-31 was ‘Tomcat’ before becoming a VFA. VF-14 and -32 didn’t change, and I’ve got those on the list.

I forgot to mention, the Hornet list is purely for Legacy Hornets since we don’t have Supers in DCS.

That’s a really nice collection. Thanks for sharing.

P.S.: Where is Ghostrider?

Kind of walked right into that one didn’t you.

Bumping this to say that some Mossie serials have been added, as well as TACAN identifiers for carriers and a haphazard sorting of TARPS-capable Tomcats which I kinda gave up on.
