Hello. I’m looking for help using my vintage FLCS and TQS. I am having trouble with finding updating
software. They still work great but the FLCS compiler needs an update to use the throttle.
Has anyone come across this issue? I could really use the help.

Thanks, Troll is it? I’m at the Flyfoxy site now and I don’t find any references to the FLCS or TQS except in the reviews regarding upgrading from those to the Cougar controllers. There’s no files for upgrading except for the Cougar controllers.
Do you have any other site to check? I’ve already been to the Vogon site for files but they’re sketchy at best. DL’s are in zip or 7z files that are difficult get working even after unzipping. And I think I may have gotten virus’s from that site. After unzipping and running, they kinda acted strange so I didn’t persue them after that. I did burn them to CD because that’s the only way I can use them seeing as my retro tower is incompatible with current browsers. Being Win 98se.
So Flyfoxy only deals with Cougar controllers and the software only starts at 2004, nothing prior.

I had the F-22 Pro and the F-16 TQS. I can check if I have some old software on a CD or floppy.
Just curious what the interface is on those? I want to say serial or joystick port. Did they have USB then?
The Cougar was the first quality HOTAS that I owned and wasn’t Foxy what we all used? Been so long.
yes Foxy for the cougar but not sure what they used for the TQS?? maybe try ebay and see if someone is selling the disks ?

That would be great. Thanks. I’ve been searching the internet for weeks looking for any software that will update my stick. But you know, I have never used these on anything but the DOS OS. Now all of a sudden the compiler wants an update to use the TQS. When I last used these 15 years ago, they worked perfectly, not needing any updates. Now, all of a sudden it needs an update. I can’t figure this out.
Hi, the interface is 15 pin sound/game card input. This time I have the peddles hooked into the setup but I can only get the to work in the windows setup. After that, DOS or, with Descent 2 in Win98se, the peddles aren’t being read. With not being able to use the TQS buttons, I have no ability to slide, except using the keyboard and that’s a real hassle, each controller at a different level.

Hi, I’ve been everywhere online. Ebay, Amazon, the Vogon site. There’s nothing out there to find so far. I contacted Thrustmaster and they said they don’t carry any software from that far back and none of them know anything about DOS controller setups. They all must have been born after 2000. That might explain there lack of knowledge about how the Cougar got it’s success. I gave them proper ■■■■ for not appricating where their current controllers came from. I’d attach the response from TM but the email copy doesn’t work here.
