I need to watch The Great Waldo Pepper, again.

The Natural is the one that came to me first. Waldo Pepper is definitely one of his best though.

“Sneakers” is still one of my all-time favorite movies, and it’s surprisingly relevant today.

I liked his role in “A Bridge Too Far”.

Yeah, the crossing of the Waal was an amazing scene in a movie replete with them. That movie, as well as the Cornelius Ryan book, never get old.

But my favorite has got to be Jeramiah Johnson.

“How come you ain’t been scalped?”

So many great movies. I am surprised that nobody has mentioned Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid yet? That is my favourite, for me it injected that '60s vibe and did for Westerns what Kelly’s Heroes did for WWII movies. All the Presidents Men is a close runner up.

It is what he did off screen, especially championing native American causes that I will always remember him for. Both the wife and I loved his un-credited ‘cameo’ in the latest season of Dark Winds.

Great interview with Redford about being cast for and the post production of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. He further discusses becoming friends with Butch Cassidy’s sister, Lulu Betanson.
