Go grab a 120 GB SSD. They’re not that expensive these days.

Massive failure to launch here guys-
I got some connection issues with my own server that I didn’t anticipate since 1.5 worked fine. Then forgot I hadn’t installed the A-10C module (dove right into the mission editor.)
The server is technically up but I’m not on it…
Sigh- work in progress so far.

Yeah. The only thing is, i have 3 drives (all 120gb) at the moment. I think i need to totally re-organise.
Keep ssd 120 for operating sys.
A larger ssd for sims.
Big storage hdd for other games and f111 + michelle jenneke pics.

Okay! Finally got it up and running- not sure how or why but short version is we’re in business.
I’m pretty sure I got every available module included in this very basic flight. I’m going to head up for a sightseeing tour and maybe practice some AAR.
I’d like to create some ambiance and have some dynamic aircraft activity- however dynamically spawned aircraft are crashing the game. Come to think of it- that may have only been 1.5… 2 might be okay. I’ll look into it but for now it’s a ghost town.
Blind and I are in now- he’s in his F-5E and I’m in the hog.
Password is just “1” no quotes.
Firehouse password will generally be “fire safety” from now on. 1 was just for testing.

My v2 download ran all night, was still going this morning. Will need to configure controls, too. I plan to be on later tonight in v2 for my first flight in Nevada.

I did get everything downloaded and my A-10C configured. I have one Modifier called Paddle Sw that should have been defined before the v2 install, other than that my assignments carried over. Did a cold start and flew over Las Vegas, of course.

Well I got rid of Assetto Corsa to get DCS 2.x alpha running.
Got a bit peeved with doing the dance on installing games I want to play and uninstalling games, so my wallet fell open and a new 500 GB SSD is on its way… funny though, another 8 gig of ram seemed to find its way onto the order. Now how to hide the delivery from the missus ?
