Eh guys… I’m hovering around but going to be head down in the mission editor.
I got some ideas from blind last night- what kind of random situations would you like in the template? What kind of activities would you like as a distraction?

Well, if I were home and able to play, I love me some hairy helo insert/extract type scenarios… But, I’m not home…so save those for next week…

If I may intersect here… I followed all the thread and it’s glorious.
The moment you @ENO mentioned side activities my eyes twinkled! Could you please put a couple Huey for SAR matters? 
I love that and a couple of times I’ve proven my worth*.
For completion I have the Nevada from the Hawg beta (buy never run it, 
- sorry!), the Hawg, the Huey, the Hip, the Hsabre (I like coherency more than spelling), the Flaming Cliffs 3, the FW 190, the Frakking Combined Arms (never used it fo-real!), and the Mustang. I already have the key for the Jug- just waiting for its release.
Also yeah, I’m “the Animal” here.
*I crashed lightly enough not to smash the skids and close enough to that aircrew that they still had breath to curse my ancestors after running to board in! I was also within 180° from the right heading for takeoff!
Okay… I remember in the past I had a SAR component and any time someone crashed or ejected it would pull the ejection location and create a SAR mission. It could be applied to vehicles as well…
Some of that is going to depend on scripts that already exist. Trying to get my head around this new MOOSE framework but there are a few steps between building a mission and then tuning it with MOOSE.
MOOSE really improves mission randomization which is really what I’m looking for. ie: let’s say that I have random AI aircraft going mechanical when certain chopper groups are occupied… Probably not hard to set a zone around the chopper (15km or so) and ensure that SAR issue “randomly” happens somewhere within that perimeter. Or something.
Guys want random target areas- with JTAC associated… Predator UAVs so you need to watch where you’re going!
For now it’s just an open mission with some AAR- good for practicing and my favourite formation flying! Had some good flights with blind yesterday- I didn’t fly formation on him much but boy he’s impressive up there.
Anyway- hope all is good. If anyone is around I can go in but right now still just looking over moose.

I’m just struggling even to get it set up- I’ve got eclipse and I see videos that can help with basic tasks / functions etc… but I don’t know what file to load in eclipse to get started?

Oh yeah. I skipped all of that but it did take me a few hours to get the basics down. I will be available tomorrow and next week as i am busy this evening.
Heading in for a flight in Nevada- leaving Nellis. Not going to AAR this time since I just realized I haven’t yet actually landed a plane in Nevada. Going to be in the hog.
I’ll be placing some random targets and a JTAC at Echo Bay… just some random targets- nothing elaborate. Mostly for aircraft. I’ll put another setup closer to Nellis for the attack choppers too.
I’ll be heading in around 1MST.

They’ve done a lot (A LOT) of work on this and made it available so it’s here to be flown and enjoyed. All the credit goes to the 476th… Whether it was all Stuka or not- probably a team effort.

I’ll just let it run for awhile and see where things end up. I’ll probably end up putting it on a 6 hour loop or so to change between north and south target areas. I’ve split them by their recommendation since there are a LOT of items. They split it between north and south areas for their events so I figured that might be a smart thing to do anyway.
I won’t be in to fly just yet- but server is up and will be for the foreseeable future.
Let me know how it works out.
