The full game comes in at about 153Gb.
Just checked, GOG wants to download around 10Gb. Are you on Steam?
Yes Steam. My bad, it seems to be about14Gbs.
Curious, a lot of UI weirdness seems to have been caused by the game confusing my TMWH with a gamepad. Removing them fixed a lot of crazyness.
Ah, so that’s what that flickering is all about. Good to know
That’s real odd, but good to know.
Good gravy this game is difficult, compiling shaders aside. I’ve had to take a step back take a deep breath and learn some basics. I’ve been carrying too much weight for one thing.
I’ve managed to stealth my way into the laboratory, at times this did not seem possible. So pretty rewarding, but a big challenge. Cool stuff.
Died my 30th death in the zone yesterday. I eefuse to play a bad guy, even if that’s so much more profitable. Gun wear is a B%£@! my favourite gun costs thousands to clean. I wish I could do that myself.
So, I got some tweaks for you guys that you might want to try. Limit FPS to 60. It’ll smooth things out quite a bit. Set this in either in game or GPU software. Even if you’ve got a monitor with a higher refresh.
Also, set hair to medium. This makes for talking to NPCs a lot smoother.
I’ve put about 30 hours into the game so far and I’m so glad this recent patch adjusted the cost of repairing weapons and armor. The costs were just ridiculous in my opinion.
Man I hate Poltergeists.
The bloodsuckers were frequently killing me as well until I finally got some good armor and weapons and got enough coupons to upgrade them!
Putting a scope on a silenced AK-74S almost feels like cheating, at least against human opponents. Same with having a magazine fed shotgun against everything that wants to get up close.
I have to say, the sound design on this game is absolutely top notch. I know that Wwise is the industry standard for AAA games, but they really did a great job utilizing its features.
Haven’t run into any game-breaking bugs yet, performance on 1920x1200 is absolutely ok.
Same, no game breakers here, but I haven’t really gotten that deep.
I’m kind of waiting on a few more patches, a few more fixes, and then jumping in. I remember what Shadow of Chernobyl was like at launch. I can be patient.
I’m waiting for a sale on this one. Thats my gaming life now… waiting for a sale with bated breath
There’s a lot of benefits to not being an early adopter, that’s for sure.
