Out of Malbec - switching to Merlot.
Oh…and can we all agree that my son’s entry to the American Airlines “What Does Safety Mean To You” contest is a winner…since he clearly won’t be winning the Scripps Spelling Bee competition?
Can we also agree that the History Channel’s “Alone” is the best show on TV at the moment?
Been binge watching Season 2 this past week. Love it. Sign me up. I want to see if I would tap out in the first 48 hours for lack of Krispy Kreme donuts.
What sort of status report is this on? Stuck somewhere with aircraft?
Status report. Instrument check - complete.
Starting engines malfunctions. Abort. Engine failure after take-off. Hold. ILS to a full stop engine out… ILS to go around / EO. TACAN to circle to touch n go to VFR pattern to go around to VFR pattern to a full stop. Fun times.
Status Report:
Permit drawings due to the city office in 6 days.
Still waiting on another consultant to provide mechanical and electrical load information for most of the support equipment in the building.
Sent project manager a two page email with other required information three weeks ago. He asked me yesterday to re-send it to the project owners.
Three more hours, then too close for beer, so switching to Bourbon.
…am I doing this right?
Beer, beer, beer, beer…
Good status update.
I’m putting you in for a promotion…
That all sounds very similar to my checkrides…
It doesn’t matter what airplane you are flying, it seems that the standard 293/297 check is the same for all of us. I have flown those profiles (in the sim) at JFK in the King Air, Citation II, Challenger and the Global. Funny thing is I have never flown into JFK for real. Nice use of color for the briefing there. Extra points to your instructor for that .
Yeah. I’ve flown that checkride profile (more or less) the exact same way for 18 years and some 36 or so checkrides. I think I could draw the VOR 4L circle to 31R approach plate by hand and from memory at this point.
It’s not too late to switch again…
BOTA BOX is a camping staple food. I approve.
Me - I’m doing margaritas tonight.
…and trying to figure out which of these buttons to push…(or not)…
When in doubt, always press one of the red ones .
A nice Robert Mondavi Chardonnay for me this evening, although I am contemplating breaking out the single malt. Hmmmmmm. Bowmore or The Balvenie. Decisions, Decisions.
Bowmore wins
Over here: Watermelon milkshake from Cook Out (because July), with rum added.
Meanwhile, I’ve just returned from another practice sortie, trying to “get gooder” when it comes to bombing in the Mirage:
I’m not so sure about the Watermelon Milkshake Rum concoction, but the Mirage certainly looks sweet.
I can only concur!
