Actually, what I think happens is when ED pushes an update, DLSS is replaced by whatever version they are using. So, you have to run the DLSS Switcher program again to get the new version first, then run the Nvidia Profile Inspector tool to set the profile. Takes more time to types this than do it fortunately.

I’m not hip on all this but…is there a hint that this will be built-in with DCS at some point - not requiring the switcher thingy? Just curious.

The performance boost using the latest DLSS version, profile K, is huge on my RTX 3080 10GB with 5800X3D+32GB. I’ve set DLSS to the max performance in DCS settings and it still looks as good as the old balanced setting, but it seems (I did not A/B-test, this is just by feel) I am one step higher in VR framerate than I used to be. 60 fps where it used to be 45, 75 fps where it uses to be 60.

This is coming from the included DLSS in DCS from a year ago or so.

It seems customsettingnames.xml is no longer necessary if using the latest nvidia profile inspector release btw.
