In the link above are tips how to win. The key thing, at least on the beginning of campaign is to be stealthy as much as possible = all AG/AA only inside! Only that help you to survive the most difficult strike missions, especially if you will stay alone, and aviod to be detected by enemy AWACS, CAPs, and scramble fighters.
Do not forget to keep EMCON level on 1 or 2, and use 3+ only when you need to fire BVR.
I believe it! DID cooperate with RAF/BAE. I love DID sims a lot many reasons. Despite of fact that a dynamic campaign in magnum opus DID title (F-22 TAW) is the best of all simulators I have played (and I played almost everything), and regardless of fact, that in my eyes is TAW dynamic campaign better than a dynamic campaign in MicroProse Falcon 4.0 (of course, in TAW ground war were not fully implemented due to time pressure), DID EF-2000 has the special position in my heart!
It was the first DID game I played on my first PC (1998), with lovely graphics, special effects, and with incredible realism level.
I played Falcon 4.0 since they released Super Pack 3, and won a dynamic campaign there with my squadron (coop) at least 2 times (Israel and Korea) but TAW is the better. Although both dynamic campaign engines, which means DID and MicroProse are very similar (not a big surprise for me) the feeling from the DID campaign is better, probably because DID follows John A. Warden III five rings model strategy (Centers of Gravity - CoGs, the book The Air Campaign) which helped to win aerial campaign in Desert Storm 1991 and campaign can be changed due to political decision, something which is partly also in MicroProse Falcon 4.0 campaign but a little bit differently implemented.
