I hope we’ll learn more about our full fidelity MiG-29, and that by some miracle the razbam shenanigans didn’t affect the MiG-23MLA. My secret hope for the anouncement would be a bomber. B-17, B1 or Tu-22M. Or ASW like @Freak mentioned (but I would like a sea-king more than a sea-sprite).

So I had to go look at the “and beyond” videos. In 2022 they teased the A-6. Since 2023 they began teasing the Corsair even though they have been talking about it since 2019. A lot of stuff they have delivered very quickly.
One thing I noticed is that in 2024 and beyond there is a Zero. No, not a Focke Wulf 190A in drag, A Real Zero. There is also a very tasty looking Japanese tank. Are the Pacific assets near?
For me the 104 was a very important announcement.
I have a fascination with MiGs… So odd, so mysterious… The '23 would be a dream come true.

Opening the SDK for terrains would be a big wishlist for me, so some SEA terrain might come into existence a bit earlier than through the regular channels.

Yes for a renewal on NTTR! It needs work far more than the F-5E (but of course I know they worked on that one as part of the additional work they’ve done for FC2024, and people get more excited about planes than terrain…)

Yes, the last time I flew it the entire NW 1/3? was pretty spartan…kinda like the entire SW 1/3 of the NTTR - there’s a lot do to there too as the military airspace (R2508 I believe) is pretty heavily used, and as large as the NTTR.
That’s a big chunk to go un-loved - Edwards AFB has some history?

Maybe I’m wrong here (wouldn’t be the first time) but keeping things like the terrain SDK close to the chest seems…urm…backwards to me? Say you did that (released the SDK): you might have a 100 version of the NTTR map out there but most all of them would be, dare I say, a much ‘richer’ experience.
I mean, you’d miss out on some [upgrade] sales perhaps but I think you’d have a LOT of people saying things like, “What? DCS has a fully modeled NTTR map? And I can fly the Sidewinder Low Level route and get my [virtual] picture taken? I wanna get DCS for that!!!”.

I used to see occasional reddit posts like that. Someone would log into the aerobatic servers and plane spot, then upload the vids to youtube.

- ground units that aren’t aimbots (spotting changes did much, want more)
- A brace of MiG’s; -17, -23 and -29
- The vietnam era machines that been announced; hun, sluf, spad and the last of the gunfighters.
- Germany map, Jungle by the sea and Vegas 2.0 to include Edwards and Fallon

I feel like this is something they could automate using AI watching us flying in the online servers and working out simple algorithmic behaviours (or, perhaps, something that will run on the GPU tensor cores without too much impact)
This, so much this! They need an option like ArmA’s “skill” and “accuracy” AI sliders - and I’d suggest also a “morale” slider which controls how aggressively they commit and when they try to bug out that could be used by mission creators and even tie into the dynamic campaign engine!
