Just gave a very very quick peek to some parts of the video and it seems truly outstanding for the low price.
Is “Ready Player One” behind the corner? Exciting… 
Good: gets more processing power into an entry level device. Bad: there will be less development for the Q2. I wonder how long before my kids begin complaining. Personally would have a hard time going back to Fresnel lenses, but very much understand why Meta made that design decision. Great interview with Meta CTO in the second video.
So, the 3S is sort of a 2.5…?

I picked up a new quest3 at the end of August and was quite impressed with the improvement over the quest 2 …so any one who goes for this is getting a pretty good deal, better performance than the 2 and cheaper than the 3
