Sorry @komemiute just had to post it ![]()
Absolutely glorious! ![]()
Awesome stuff! I also ordered some Virpil stuff that should arrive tomorrow!
Are you using the display unit with those MFDs? If so how do the affect performance?
I didnt get the screens with mine, as I fly mainly in VR, so wouldnt know about the performance hit from the screens. ![]()
I have no self control. Just bought the Constellation ALPHA Prime [R] grip for my set up.
Hoping it will be here before Christmas but Im expecting it to arrive sometime around summer.
It will replace my Moza MH16 grip. Which is a good grip but a bit small for me. The hats get a lot of wrong pushes from my thumbs.
Im thinking of getting the winwing mfds too.
Can you change the button colors on the winwing mfds? The thrustmaster ones are green and only green. This locks me into green for the color. I like green but…id rather have a nice blue.
I have the constellation alpha, but not the prime… its a damn good stick, covers all you want to do …Flightsim, space sim
not sure havent tried … give me a minute ![]()
just checked and nope… you can change the brightness but not colour
Thanks. Turns out i cant change the color on my moza throttle either. Its all good, save money this time.
At that point I should start avoiding the topic… They just look so amazing. Also, I don’t fly airbus thát much in sims (that’ll change when fenix makes their 320neo probably) but whenever I see that Winwing MCDU…

I’ve been following the development of this cool utility that allows you to use WinWing MCDU or Boeing CDUs for data input in certain DCS a/c. Right now, the software supports these a/c:
…but mostly I’ve focused on using the Airbus MCDU with the CH-47F, which it maps pretty well with. It’s hard to see in the photos, but the font color matches the DCS version perfectly for most pages. A cool feature is the if you switch to the other pilot position, the MCDU changes to the page they have selected. And the brightness rotaries for pilot and copilot CDUs (currently inop in the sim) can be synced to control the brightness of the lights in the WW MCDU. He is planning on adding the Herc, but needs DCS-BIOS to support that first.
very cool, are they going to update it for the Herc?
Yep, as soon as DCS-BIOS supports it.
Where’s the force feedback gizmos WinWing teased last summer? And not a peep out of Virpil either on that front ![]()
I still feel that VirPil and WinWing were caught off guard by Moza. My Moza AB9 and yoke have been excellent (although the yoke did break itself requiring a replacement unit).
There’s been a peep. Virpil is planning to release theirs in 2026 according to a social media post floating around…
Oh really? Well that’s nice. It’s getting hard to hang fire reading posts about how much fun helos and analogue jets are with a good FFB stick.
Haven’t had a lot of time with my Moza AB6 + throttle but so far, so good. Still Groking the preferred/best FFB modes/selections. I have noticed that in 2D it’s ‘okay’. In VR it’s great! Especially when the FFB meshes with the seat of the pants thingy (haptic seat vibrator).
Now the question(s) arise: just which setting is most authentic. And do I care?
And the real reason I clicked on BUY (AB6) - choppers! Oh my, much nicer. Less frustration.
MOZA’s new update has profiles for most DCS aircraft. This is my most proud moment with the Base. Loving it
This reminds me…
So, If I only check the FFB box in DCS and do NOT use any Moza Cockpit setting/profiles what will I get? I assume this is module-dependent but which modules have ‘good’ settings and which do not? Haven’t seen much on this. I ask cos it takes time to tweak all this. Hmm, this may not make sense.
