You know, there are a lot of things in the Universe to make one feel small, but somehow, knowing that this thing would appear so huge from freaking 4 lightyears away, incidentally frying the Earth like a strip of bacon from that distance is… kind of hair-raising!
Would NOT want to live in that Galaxy.

On a related note. I was surprised to find out just how SMALL black holes can be. I don’t remember their designations but there are black holes in the Milky Way that are as small as a few miles in diameter.
And so-called quantum black holes…
