You may have heard of a new DCS / BMS like Flight Sim last year called TWS (Track While Scan) that looked decidedly fake.

Terasynth, a video game company run by CEO Ali Mahvan, was publicly destroyed about a year ago when they released a fake video game trailer. Since then, Ali continues to release trailers to drum up revenue while he attempts to win a government contract with the Department of Defence.
I can never be a vegetarian when I keep loving a roast as good as that!
Edit: jokes aside, that project is absolute bullshit. Everyone with a crumb of knowledge about development and/or programming can see it.
It pains me to know that gamers give money to that in good faith - and if they ever manage to get a DOD contract it’s absolutely 200% money down the drain.
There should be a strict audit on projects with grandiose statements like that.
That whole thing must be brought down as quickly as possible
I have avoided this issue like it was the plague, not needing that kind of negativity in my life. I also silently dreaded the day we’d get spillage over onto this forum. I’m glad others had the strength to expose this crap though.
I am also a bit sad, because a bit of competition is healthy and if TWS was for real, I’d cheer them on and wave a flag! Unfortunately they have only managed to crap all over our hobby…
So, with that I would just like to remind everybody of not discrediting persons in here. Go for the company.
Also while I am all for outing scammers, the saying “any publicity is good publicity” exists for a reason. Maybe sticky this somewhere and call it a day?
A couple of popular DCS streamers were roped in during the initial announcement a few months ago, until a bunch of dodgy stuff came out, and they all asked to be removed from the project.
For example, at one point, their project website had a plagiarized quote from Beach taken completely out of context to seem like an endorsement. That came down after a bit of slightly harsh admonishment.
Anyway yeah, this is exactly what happens when wannabe tech douches get their hands on pretty much anything and think they can “hustle” it to only make them money. But that’s a whole other rant best reserved for other places.
