UFO sighted near Groom Lake area

Thought to have been abandoned years ago as a possible installation for the research and investigation of extraterrestrial aircraft, a new report asks the question, “has activity increased again?”

On Thursday, 6 December, 2018 at approximately 2 PM PST, two Air Force A-10C’s were doing a training flight north of the Groom Lake facility when an unusual object was observed by one of the planes. Below are the three images one of the pilots grabbed as the object flew close by then streaked away leaving a significant contrail. The third image was grabbed just before the object went completely out of view.

We have reached out to spokesman Colonel Matthew Wagner for comments, but no statements have been provided to date.

As this mystery evolves, we will keep you advised of any late-breaking news.

My inner child is just jealous. :star_struck:

Do any of you remember when FSX first came out? They had an “intro” mission of 2 Hornets chasing a UFO?

Yes…and they also have a 737 mission flying workers out to Groom Lake where you get buzzed by a UFO.

Helloooo… That’s from a TV series.
MIB are for reeeal!

“so, hum, what was it actually? A graphical glitch? A missile? A weather balloon?”

My guess is a cool graphic glitch, or an intentional Easter Egg. Nudge, nudge, “spotted at Groom Lake”.

Still waiting for Colonel Wagner to confirm or deny such possibilities.

Anyone found the beach shovel and pail yet in Nellis? If you know the source of that one, you’re carbon dated.

Haven’t seen that in DCS, but yeah, I’ve seen it before

Who remembers the TV series “Project U.F.O”, aka “Project Bluebook”…it’s coming back!

Perhaps this was a publicity stunt? Could be. Personally, I wouldn’t put anything by those pesky Aliens…just say’n. :sunglasses:
