Hey Guys,
I have always messed with debloating programs and slimmed down OS but never had any luck with them. the most recent slimmed down OS I tried was Tiny 11 and X-Lite..
Now they had several things I required besides just for gaming and was not good for me.. I did have a bookmark site that has a setup for an unattended install of Win 11 which will remove and install what I want installed..
Well I went throught it and setup a xml file for myself I was just wondering if anybody here has any knowledge of such doings and if it is safe to do?
here is the link to the unattedned setup website:
Now the main reason I would like to use this website is it debloats windows before I install and sets the programs I would like to have for myself which is key as most those other bloatwares remove important features I use..
So is this website legit and safe to use and nay other words of wisdom would be appreciated here..
Thnx
Nephilim’
I also found this video which was a bit older then the current iteration on that website but was good enough to follow. here is the link:

Unattended installation of Windows is only useful if you install Windows very often (like if you are a system manager of some organisation).
If you use it for your PC at home the extra time needed for setting up the unattended installation is probably more than the time saved by using the unattended installation.
Well I like it because I can customise Windows a little bit to how I want it.. Have you any experience of those slimmed down versions of windows like X-Lite or Tiny 11?
I have read some bad things about those but I hear good things as well so it is hard to say if they are bad or good like in a malicous sort of way..
Alright after much Google searches I think I have determined those Custom ISO’s are basically not good. they may contain maleware and such so from now on I will no longer use them..
I did rediscover Chris Titus Techs MicroWin which is an opensource Custom ISO Maker.. I made the ISO last night and just installed this version earlier this afternoon.. So far the only thing that was missing for me was Media Player Legacy which I reinstalled with a Powershell command..
Other then that missing I am thinking this will be the way forward to setup my Windows. Also when Makeing the Custom ISO I was able to save my drivers on current windows to the new ISO and I do not even have to reinstall all my drivers when reinstalling windows as it is baked into the custom ISO WinMicro makes..
Which saves me about half hour to an hour of work installing the drivers and such.. I did have a small problem with the nVidia driver and had to run the installation again as the Control Panel did not work but other then that all my chipset and mother board drivers are all installed..
I think I have found what I been looking for the past year.. Plus he has the bloatware program run from a terminal command with the wintech built into the powershell program..
EDIT: well as it turns out not sure if it was supposed to work an Windows update but having issues getting 25H2. so I may go back to just using the unattedned install along with Chris Titus Debloater not using microwin.. I am going to his site to see if I was able to do updates as I wanted 25H2 for the nvme drive mod.. well I will redo it but sometime later not needed to be done again so soon..

I found some programs that will slim Windows ISO for me. I looked at the 1 NTLite but it is alot to digest.. I may watch some videos and attemp to make a custom ISO for myself..
I like the fact I can install the drivers before and incorporate them into the ISO so when you install all that works will be done.. I really like this idea as I am always wrecking my installs and reinstall Win alot..
I will see if I can find some tutorials on NT Lite..
OK I had managed to find a trustworthy guide on how to use NTLite and it was not too bad. I went through the guide following the instructions and for a minute I thought I would have to purchase the software but it is not required for Home users but some options are only on the payware one and that is what was being used in the guide.
I just had to manually install the drivers for my motherboard and I am going to use the unattedned file I made earlier for my own custom slimmed down version of Windows..
I am going to wait a while before I install the new version as I just had reinstalled like 4 times in the past two weeks messing with this again. and since I am currently running OK I will wait until something happens which usually it does in a month or two and I will need to reinstall.
So hopefully this ISO I created will be a slimmed down version even more so then just the Unatended file I was using.. so I think I finally cracked this nut and found a workable solution for myself..
