Victor was the best V bomber…
I think there might be a heated debate on that
Yay!
My favourite one to rile things up is this
You couldnt of bombed the Falklands without the victor
But you could of without the vulcan
that is true …but look at the lines and listen to the howl of the vulcan … and can you glue a shrike missile on a victor
Good point that
Vulcan definitely the most beautiful of all V bombers.
Except the nose. And the cockpit Bulge plonked on top.
I really dislike the front on the vulcan. The Valiant and Victor are far better looking from the front and sides imo
The Victor just looks absolutely incredible from any angle.
Unpopular opinion: Except for the Concorde, I can’t think of a single British plane that I find visually pleasing. Maybe the visually pleasing part of the Concorde was the French influence.
Reginald Mitchells ghost will haunt you tonight!
Eric Brown’s videos came up on my feed last week. What a career and what stories!
I’m with ya! It was an elegant bird.
Now, if you would have said Valiant, Ugh.
No! You were so close!
Look at the valiant wing root intakes and tell me it isnt beautiful!
We’re not “friends” anymore
LOL
never liked the canberra myself … looked like an enlarged meteor with a stupid canopy
Bugger forgot the meteor.
Yes. Canberra is an ugly duckling though
In for a penny, in for a pound.
My bad, the Spit is an exception. Although some of the variants with the weird canopies
It’s interesting that no-one mentioned the Tonka, because that one’s an exception too. As for the rest, can’t help it. If it’s any consolation, I find most of the Century Series weird as well.
