$19 million and they’re still running MSFS '98. Poorly.

I know, you’d think they could update their PC with that kind of money. For shame.

They can’t. Spent it all on motion hardware…
Then they found out they needed a PC and somebody on the Kraken team happened to have a Pentium system in the attic.
Hey, it’s a government funded project. Could’ve happened like that.

Clearly they used it too often.

I know how this works. In 1998 somebody made the offer and included the best-of-breed flightsim so there will be no shortage of money when it‘s implemented 10 years later. Then nobody ever had the balls to do the change request. Now, switching it to another piece of software would be called phase two and estimated to $25M.

Where do I apply?

I didn’t check the date, but based on the uniform, this is a few years old.

So is DCS: World! No excuses!
I mean come on - they got a TM: WH working with that ancient looking software!

I think that’s sort of the idea. . . Or at least it would be if you stopped squirting the mad scientists with a water bottle and yelling “NO! Bad Scientist!”

OSHA compliant vs. non-OSHA compliant is good enough for me. If a device can help out with natural selection, I’m all over it!
