So a couple of years ago I stumbled across this YouTube channel that had some very in-depth videos about the development and design of the A4/V2 Rocket - naturally I subscribed and today, years later, part two about the V2’s turbo pump popped up on my YouTube feed.

I had no idea that the pump was steam-driven. Amazing!

I’ve been reading a book about Operation Paperclip. Lots of stuff about the V-2 and Von Braun, among others of course.
The book’s premise seems to be “US deal with the devil to fight Japan and later USSR”. It hasn’t been overly judgmental, but I can pick it up.
