I “taught” els how to both drive and reverse her new trailer today.
Single funniest thing I’ve ever seen.
I’m surprised the hilux hasnt got a trailer on its roof tbh.

I predict lady dents in both rear quarter wings in the near future.
Mrs K did this… “oh, I forgot the trailer was on” when meeting someone down the back road.

Fixed the brakes on the mule. Took 20 minutes. I don’t like to be big headed, but the chap i bought it from was going on and on about “this and that” and possible causes. I could see the cable was routed incorrectly and he had ran out of adjustment. Unclipped it all and fed it through the frame differently and hey presto…brakes.
Adjusted the clutch and throttle and greased it all. Diff cover is leaking oil. Quite a bit in fact but that should be super easy and looks a fun job for the boy to do.
Got the M60 clipped on a bit more securely and made a clip for the ammo box to sit on so it doesn’t bounce around enough to become detached.
Clutch was miles out of adjustment, that now works as it should and engages like butter instead of a shotgun going off.
A fun morning!
Oh and i have swapped the lights around on the trailers so the colours match better as they were wrong way round.
Got a list of jobs to do on the humvee, throttle position sensor, fan override switch, cadillac valve and drop the gearbox oil again.
I think i have an airlock in the water system somewhere as well as its started getting hotter again when towing.
This is much more fun than tyres. Shame it doesn’t pay the bills

And here I was under the misguided impression that it was the kids that were supposed to have the Mohawk and Purple hair, not the parents.
