The thing that always bugged me about that scene was where were George’s parents? I mean they must have been some sound sleepers considering Marty was none to quiet and George would have screamed out loud when he first heard the music and seen Marty as the Alien.

If you notice Marty hangs around his house while George makes his own laundry and George doesn’t introduce him to anyone.
Let me tell you, he has no parents in that house.
Why?
Who knows but they aren’t there.
