Not only- men are way more likely to transform threats and abuse into physical violence.
I’m not calling you out- I’m asking you all to pay attention and to stand up against it.
100% agree. Sexism is part of culture and not exclusive to one gender. But we, as reasonable men, have an outsize influence on the issue. That is good news! We have power to change things. All we need to do, is think about what we say and stand up against shitty behavior.

Now that i agree with wholeheartedly…violence, threats etc. You are absolutely correct in my opinion. But there is also a totally non-negligible effect on women by women in this sort of situation. Women act absolutely horrendously to each other. Even to their own friends. Where i (personally) don’t see that sort of backstabbing and gossiping and ostracising of each other like girls do to each other.
You don’t seem to consider that between women there’s also much stronger support in any form both emotional and physical.
Because she’s a pretty girl. That sells.

In classic Star Trek terms, men are Klingons and women are Romulans. 
That also makes it harder to determine just how many are doing it because the loud men easily drown out the whispering women.

I still remember the fear in my Moms eyes. She was pregnant, me and my sister 7 and 8 years old.
One month after my son was born, Fukushima went up in smoke. It was way less scary to me than Chernobyl was to her.
What a nightmare to have as a toy, lol. Yet so important as a constant reminder.
The sheer balls of humans to still claim that it’s safe - is proof that we don’t get the power of nature and we don’t get the human factor. We’re such bold asshats, aren’t we. 
Well to be fair it is- now of all times there’s nothing more efficient for making the amount of energy that the world’s need. That said I would give it up in an heartbeat if there was anything better.

Seriously though, as long as no solution for nuclear waste is built, it’s not safe to produce more of it. Hardly any science in that.
Want to know why there’s no progress? Want to know why the Nuclear Energy lobby is all full of secrecy? Want to know why they get to decide when they use their money to deal with their waste?
They had 70 years and achieved nothing.
That’s a fact. We still keep them in charge. Because safety is topmost priority for us. Right?
