It should be water tight and float better, until some debris tears the visqueen, when the water gets high enough.

My first thought as well. Even if it doesn’t tear, it’s likely to end up… somewhere else and beat up.

If you have time to drive to the store for plastic wrap- why not just drive to higher elevation?

looks around FL with highest elevation point at 53m in small part of northern peninsula, rest at below 10m

Anybody else think if there is another remake of the movie Twister that it should be called Hurricane and be set in Florida. That way instead of the iconic flying cow scene you could substitute flying gators. :innocent:
