Zero points.
Yeah this is basically a test that every elder Millenial or GenX from the West has 0-3 points in I guess.
You have to be significantly older to have higher points again.
I would think the scores would also be greatly affected depending on the country where the person lives. Someone living in a third world country who is under 30 would score higher than someone under 30 born in a first world/developed country.
Absolutely. That’s what I (inaccurately) meant with “in the West”.
Same here, although I have never rented a video from Blockbuster as that franchise wasn’t available in Sweden. We had other, similar, VHS renting franchises though.

Same for me. I read plenty of encyclopedias while growing up but I never actually owned a set.
Me too
Mrs Tempusmurphy was the manageress of my local video shop … before we got together I rented a lot of films … after I didnt pay for one again

Nil pois!
Got a few. Don’t remember ever playing with a fax or writing a cheque.
I got one!
Never paid with a cheque. Having grown up in Eastern Europe, I think we went from 100% cash (and saving accounts) straight to credit / debit cards.
I sent faxes in several occasion while working retail (EB Games) and I paid with a cheque several times. Good old Italy.
I sent quite some faxes, in Germany fax machines are still in use in companies because you can send legal documents.
I am pretty sure that I only ever wrote exactly one check.
I frequently used bank transfers by paper though, which is very similar.

I have watched a video on VHS and BETA
Yeah well, then I get minus several…

Loaded a videogame from a tape

Typed in a videogame in basic from a magazine

Played a videogame from a hardware coded single-game system
Oh yes. I also recall the sheer joy when after some 5 minutes of weird noises I got this
Yes
And yes… On a TRS 80
If an Atari 2600 counts, then that is also a yes
You do realise though that this makes us ‘ancient’ rather than just old
And the latter was with a semi-professional armed service; the Punic wars were fought with the older Maniple system which levied landholders for forces.
It’s the equivalent of relying entirely on the Army National Guard as opposed to active elements.
