Mayhaps we could have a tiny well hidden and gated P&R corner?
Actually, according to the Mudspike Forum FAQ, there are no hard rules about anything, other than you shouldn’t post stuff that others might find objectionable.
So, anything goes, as long as it’s discussed in a civil manner and isn’t flagged by a member, or locked by staff.
So… Like…
You just saw an example of a very civil discussion, without flags.
Nobody even accused me of being a Troll! Wait…!
I just wanted to flag your previous post
You mean you wanted to exercise democracy?
VR users: I’ve read that this registry edit can help to improve performance; no promises but a number of folks have been talking about it.
Mustang did a nice reg file for this here:

Classic full screen is a bit of a dx9 thing, as the mode de jour is nowadays borderless windows. Worth a try though.
Also, this can be done without regkeys (maybe, not tried it tbh) by typing ‘Xbox’ in Win 10 start bar and following the Gaming options. The Gamebar and DVR recorder is ON by default but can be toggled off.
GTA in VR. Looks interesting, might give it a go:
Video in use, looks well done:
Haha…I was just about to post this. And (of course) I’m downloading GTA V now…because…well…because…
Cool, be the test hamster and report back. I too am thinking this might be a GTA V reinstall to try.
An hour later…I’m still downloading. Good thing I am on nights tomorrow…
It’s very good. Some slight artifacts, and you’d better have some good VR legs, but overall it is superb…! Just drag and drop the files and make the settings.xml edits (very easy) and you are in business!
Good news! And this will work on any SteamVR compatible HMD?
I believe so, yes. And I think the original mod was for Oculus - so…fun for everyone. The mod cannot be used online I think…just the single player “campaign”…
On my end, it is actually the first VR mod that works as it should Although it is a bit laggy (probably due to my aging HW).
Thanks for posting!
New Firefox browser for WMR. Not sure I’d sit down and use a lot of VR for just browsing, but I guess it all has to start somewhere. This could be the Netscape 1.0 of web VR browsing…
EDIT: Couldn’t get it to work, perhaps others will have more luck. I have every beta imaginable on this PC, so probably me.
Maverick uses it to flightplan Aurora flights - and solve murders during leave…
