I don’t think this is supposed to be a successor for VTOL, but it certainly opens the door for a lot of people who don’t have a gaming PC…

Since this one is BVR / dogfight focused, I want to see ground attack focused spin off, maybe called ‘Virtual Attacker Maneuvers’.
a Simpke Standalone VR flight sim featuring AH-64,AH-1,A-10, and other ground attack planes with various ground targets and AA units to destroy… Perfect for COOP fun while VFM is a flying quake.

Exactly. I tried VFM and it is cool…but I’m not a dogfighter. A slightly dumbed down (graphics and systems complexity) version of VTOL VR native to the Quest would be awesome.

The ACMI playback of VFM engagements in VR is awesome. To be able to basically walk around the 3D playback is really cool.

I picked up the stand alone version for the Quest 3. It’s fun, but it’s very light when compared to VTOL.
