Just remembered this song and looked it up on YT.
Really good.
hat was real nice, Aginor
I just head about this band about a year ago. This is a cool song, especially for those of us born in 67.
You see me now, a veteran
Of a thousand psychic wars
Iāve been living on the edge so long
Where the winds of limbo roar
And Iām young enough to look at
And far too old to see
All the scars are on the inside
Iām not sure if thereās anything left of me
Donāt let these shakes go on
Itās time we had a break from it
Itās time we had some leave
Weāve been living in the flames
Weāve been eating up our brains
Oh, please, donāt let these shakes go on
You ask me why Iām weary
Why I canāt speak to you
You blame me for my silence
Say itās time I changed and grew
But the warās still going on, dear
And thereās no end that I know
And I canāt say Iām forever
I canāt say if weāre ever gonna be free
Donāt let these shakes go on
Itās time we had a break from it
Itās time we had some leave
Weāve been living in the flames
Weāve been eating up our brains
Oh, please, donāt let these shakes go on
You see me now a veteran
Of a thousand psychic wars
My energyās spent at last
And my armor is destroyed
I have used up all my weapons
And Iām helpless and bereaved
Wounds are all Iām made of
Did I hear you say that this is victory?
Donāt let these shakes go on
Itās time we had a break from it
Send me to the rear
Where the tides of madness swell
And been sliding into Hell
Oh, please, donāt let these shakes go on
Donāt let these shakes go on
Donāt let these shakes go on
Epic stuff
Iāll never not give that song a like.
Another cover. Love this song, and her interpretation.
Listening to Noel Gallagherās new album.
I like it. A bit too melancholic for my taste, I like his faster stuff better on most days. But some nice songs. Edit: and BTW, Johnny Marr (The Smiths) played guitar on that album as well!
He is touring the US right now as well, together with Garbage.
My thoughts exactly, Aginor
Not sure if I should post it here or in the visual jokes thread:
Noel Gallagher backstage, talking Garbage:
Shurely that must be Manson!
