What we hearing? - Mudspike plays (2020)

UGH! I’m a moron. Or better I become one when I see a short haired blond. :flushed:

I confused Debbie Harry with Patsy Kensit…

Well, both are easy on the eyes.

…but one could be the other’s mother. I just did a double take when I read that Debbie Harry was born in 1945.

My Dad was well into blondes, me I don’t care about it though I am partial to a bit of auburn…

But he actually preferred Debbie Harry without the wig

PS - just found this:

Was thinking about Fleetwood Mac…

To a lot of the world, they entered the picture with Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham etc, but with a nod to history, I like to remember that they were a “thing” before that, as well…

Definitely - although I bought their Rumours LP, that was mainly for the Mrs. My collection is from the Peter Green era - awesomeness!

I even regularly played Oh Well on my guitar when I could still use my fingers! The day I learned Green Manalishi (from a guitar magazine) I was so chuffed that I could play it. Think I have a vid of my doing the intro bit somewhere. I distinctly remember having the overdrive set to 11 for that

Absolutely love this opera. Went to my first ballet ever and it was the Prokovief Romeo and Juliet.
Unforgettable experience…

In other news I found out this and it really slaps!

I know right? When I read about it, it felt like something out of a William Gibson Cyberpunk novel but wow- it just slams.

I can almost see a high-tech fight between Molly Millions and a few henchmen on a discoteque floor…

I learned to play/sing this song today.
But I’ll spare you that and instead link to the Chief himself playing it.
I was going to link the official video, but this version is even better:

A conversation with a lady at the grocery store today stirred this up - was wearing a shirt from a highlands game from years back.
