My jam for the ride in to work this morning:
Classic, youtube threw it at me earlier this week.
Howās this for a classic?
Havenāt heard that song in years! Have you ever heard Kornās rendition of Another Brick in the Wall?
Because I love Arctic Monkeys and have had a huge crush on Lauren Mayberry for a while now:
Beck when I was high school, Tom Morello, Layne Staley, Stephen Perkins, and Martyn LeNoble put together a supergroup called the Class of '99 to cover that for the soundtrack of the movie āThe Faculty.ā
St Tropez, a ānewā Dutch band, formed from former members of Go Back to the Zoo, a lot more punky and less over produced. Love it, plan on going to see them live next month!
Couldnāt figure out who this was that sang this song for the longest time, probably because i thought it was the rare Pixies song where Black Francis let Kim Deal take the lead for once⦠of course there was a more logical explanation it not actually being a Pixies song

Have you seen them live? I have never seen a smaller woman with a greater stage presence.
*I Have a giant crush on her as well
@Mudcat, if you havenāt check out that whole album, Carnavas, then Swoon after that.
@near_blind, Coachella a couple of years ago, where their set was so-so due to technical issues, and then in Charlotte with Deathcab this past summer. Much, much better show. Have you given her podcast a listen? I absolutely melt for women with Scottish accentsā¦
No. But thatās gonna happen now. I saw her in Dallas last year. She referenced Friday Night Lights. A woman after my own heart
Remember seeing them live and one of them complained about about the crowd not being rowdy enough and literally 2 seconds later she got hit in the face with a pair of boxer shorts
Been stuck in my head all week. I blame the Martian
Nice, Rebel Rebel has been stuck in my head!
Digging the new Epica album, especially loving some of the new directions theyāre trying out.
Well that video clip certainly has a 80ā vibe! Canāt say I am familiar with their work.
One of my all-time favourite bands, seen them live a multitude of times now:
