Nice bug there Asobo… to be fair those kind of errors with airport elevation data also happened in FSX and even FS9. At least makes for challenging approach untill it gets fixed.

You can always use “slew” feature - press ‘Y’ and then F4 to go up, F1 to go down, and numpad arrows to slew the aircraft around. Basically the same as in previous MSFS.
