Where Are You Photos [2022]

Glad you had the chance to do that Chris! I remember flying the Challenger across the pond, landing at Luton and having the chance to show my Dad the airplane. His big passion was ships, having been in the UK’s Merchant Navy back in the 60’s. He took a look in the cockpit and his first observation was…”it’s a bit smaller than I thought it would be”

Early start…. Almost a 1/4 of the way through lambing, still at the interesting stage. In another two weeks we’ll be looking forward to the end.

We have a number of Mennonite businesses that we deliver raw material (lumber) to. I always love those deliveries, especially driving through the beautiful but smelly countryside. It’s all horse drawn wagons for transportation and people dressed as they were in the 1800’s.

What’s really surprising is they always seem to have the best equipment! Heavy forklifts and whatnot aside, you should see all the fancy machines they usually have in those buildings! Computerized to the hilt!

I think @tempusmurphy needed some alone time after seeing all those train photos. Nice photos.

At home. The end of an era of driving two Ford Focus. One car family again and no Focus anymore. Three doggies need a bigger boot and the bill for moving the boat for maintenance will hurt.

Do you put them in little degradable jackets when outdoors? The farmers around my last home in Scotland always used them. After a week or so they fall apart but the lambs have got bigger. It looked like they all had plastic macs on.

No. Generally they’re ok if they’re with their mum’s. If we had snow, we’d bring them in. Fortunately it’s quite mild now and we’ve moved a lot into the fields.

Wind and rain together is when it’s bad for them and can kill them if they get stranded the wrong side of a fence, so can see those degradable jackets being an idea.
