Isn’t that dirty dancing? Never have I seen my dad so embarrassed as when he had to take my then 13 or 14 year old sister to see that flick. But she would not let him off the hook, he just had to lol.

It is! Several scenes were filmed at the Grove Park Inn, where I’m currently at a work conference.
I remember what a huge deal it was during filming - a couple of my camp counselors that summer had been extras.

Man have things changed…
Just saw a school bus pull up in front of a kids house and I watched the driver text the kid to let them know they were there waiting. In my day you stood outside, in all weather conditions, and waited for the bus and you had better be there when it arrived!
