The Atlantis exhibit is simply amazing. Worth the trip just to see it.

I am alive. Just…swamped at work and treading water to stay afloat… Hoping things settle down soon.

I spent a very enjoyable 90 mins assembling the MGS 2 into the perfect position. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Last week, I’m in Nebraska for work. Wife finds 3 older puppies wandering the road near our house. One is laying in the road, as if it had been hit. They’re all seriously malnourished and dehydrated. One is a pure husky, the other two are twin husky/german shepard mix. We’re keeping the husky and have named him Gunner. The twins are going to a coworker. We’ve called them Stella and Duece. Today we all went for a walk after work. My labs, Duke and Ranger are sitting pretty, while Stella is in the background, dropping one.

I just spend 30min with my new toy (camera on the right, still without the battery grip) trying the auto focus on some small birds. It’s absolutely brilliant :kissing_closed_eyes::ok_hand:

I am sick at home right now. Just a cold, I passed the Corona test. But feeling not so good.
Went to work on Monday and my boss sent me home.

Today I felt halfway decent in the afternoon, so what could I do…

Sure, some training with the E6B!

So I did some pressure altitude, endurance, speed, distance, and wind calculations.

I remember that! We could do all kinds of things in an E6B back in the day before all these fancy phones with their apps.

Probably still could, it’s been a decade or more since I’ve touched one so it might take a minute to remember. I’d add one to my Hornet cockpit but VR so…

Maybe it’d be possible to build an E6B shaped PCB with hull effect sensors and plumb it into the PC as a controller… DCS: E6B module anyone?

I break out my CR computer all the time. Just imagine the eye-rolls I earn when I get excited over having done the math right. I miss the need for those old skills.
