All right, time to kick the tires and light the, um, engine! 
My tractor du jour this morning while my other is in for service … it’s a dirty old International … perfectly good truck! I’ve always liked the old International panels … straight forward grid style layout … switches and buttons galore … if you’re into that sort of thing.

Ive been on a bit of a mission lately learning and trying to find a detroit diesel 8v92 powered truck in the uk to take to shows. I really want to get an Oshkosh M1070 HETT and restore it but the war in Ukraine has pushed values up through the roof. So im looking for conventional trucks but they are really hard to find out here. The 2 stroke detroit just sounds absolutely glorious. Have you driven one?

On a similar note. Got into work and some temporary driver had used my truck to shove a family down the M25 (they were fine 
) but hes made a right mess of my bumper 
He tangled up my airlines in such a way as to have to of been deliberate

It took me ten full minutes to untangle them. It was obviously deliberate.
I think its because i complained about him smoking in the cab and leaving piles of cigarette ash on the bunk.
Its fine though. He definitely hasnt got enough fuel and adblue today though. I normally fill up at night so he doesn’t have to stop in the day. Not anymore

I dont imagine it will be. Unfortunately neither of us is innocent here. But the smoking thing is just gross. I have to sleep in that and smell it on my hands on the steering wheel.

Last week I flew my last flights in the Global (at least, this particular Global). Next week I head off to school for the Challenger 604 and then a differences course to bring my up to the Challenger 650.

Oh I get it. As a reformed smoker, going on 25 years, I am still super sensitive to the smell of cigarettes. No way I could tolerate driving in a vehicle that was permeated with cigarette smoke let alone sleep in it.

National Space Center at Leicester. Lots of good stuff plus fun things for kids @Victork2
Prior to that visited East Stoke battlefield near Newark on Trent. Last battle of the wars of the roses. It took place AFTER Bosworth Field and was an attempt to put Lambert Simnel on the throne, a child pretender to be one of the two murdered princes in the Tower of London. Seven thousand casualties but Lambert was pardoned by Henry VII and given a job in the royal kitchens.
The churchyard contains the grave of the first uk ambassador to the USA appointed in 1828.

That guy shouldn’t even be on the road. I friggin’ HATE truckers that aggressively tailgate four wheelers. Dumb as F*CK! The air line debacle seals the deal. That guy needs to be terminated.
