I did 4 tyres on a van earlier between 2 metal sheds and it was 49 when i got back in the van.
It was so hot my inverter kept shutting down.

Soon as i moved out it dropped significantly but that was the hottest ive endured

Happy Birthday Troll.

What day was it?

I’m thinking about which of us is the oldest.

I turned 50 on July 9. The biggest difference? I had to change my “When do you grow up” reply to “Not before I turn 60”

I hope that your next 50 will be good an prosperus

My reply is: growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional

This was outside my station about 2pm yesterday… shortly before we shut down due to track’s warping :grinning:

We had to use the max min thing on the thermometer because the screen died at about 45c

I am about 3/4’s of a mile into my daily 3.5 mile walk. When the Sun finishes clearing that foothill the temperature is going to climb rapidly.

I got volunteered to go to a “focus meeting” about communications by my boss … was complete rubbish, but I took some liberties with my journey back to my station, and had a quick trip on the brand new Elizabeth line … and all I could think of was how much it looked like the train stations in star citizen :grinning::grinning:

The future is now

I bet the underground still is nice and cool compared to the outside!

I heard mixed stories from my colleagues about the underground temperature yesterday. The consensus was that the train was worse though

As for the Elizabeth Line, it is fantastic. I had no idea there were stations where it was that futuristic but it certainly played a big role in getting me from the middle of London to RIAT so fast @Victork2 couldn’t believe it.

unfortunately not … the deeper tunnels like the central, bakerloo and victoria can be damn hot…I have seen reports of 30c on normal summer days…all of our new 710’s are have air con but none of the tube stuff does
