I’ve got 1 hour in a Starship. Yuck!
That PA-48 is really lovely; and totally new to me.

The PA-48 was a neat concept that was ahead of it’s time… ie a light, cost effective COIN aircraft. Much like the A-29 Super Tucano. The fact that it has P51 DNA also gives it an extra cool factor.
Can’t compete with @PaulRix lineup of photos, but I have some…
I’m on vacation in Sweden, for the first time since before the pandemic.
The vacation coincided with me turning half a century old. I invited my family and a bunch of friends thinking that most of them is off on vacations of their own, and won’t be able to attend. This has been the problem with most of my birthdays through the years. In the end only two of my friends couldn’t join the party…
I also got the chance to visit the museum at my old air base. Because of the less than stellar weather, the museum was crowded. Not much had changed since my last visit, 3 years ago, but it’s always nice to go there and look at the old crates and pat them on their noses.
A selfie with a Scottish Aviation Bulldog, hanging upside down from the ceiling. SwAF designation SK 61.
The cockpit of the SAAB 105, SwAF designation SK 60B. This is the four seat version that I got to fly in, during my military service.
The innards of the 30mm Aden AKAN gun capsule.
A SwAF issue Commodore Super PET computer
The Viggen Navigation trainer ”Anna”.
Happy Birthday!
Enjoy the cake
Brilliant! And also happy birthday!
Happy Birthday Troll!
I’m in Portugal, in the north. Twenty clicks away an apocalyptic forest fire is happening. My puny little phone cam probably does not do the sky justice but it is one strange phenomenon.
You working or holiday?
yep, be safe there mate… there looks like a lot of potential fire wood in the background of that pic
A couple pics from my Roadtrip 2022 picture blog. (Lounge access required)
