Funny, I kinda went the other way on that.
I got home from Pitt on Friday afternoon around 2.
Heard we’d be expecting visitors throughout the day. As we landed, 4 black Langley T-38s were departing. Frequent visitors, so I wasn’t too upset.
Next, a Dobbins AFRes C-130H with the new NP2000 props arrived.
Followed by a surprise visit by one of the Presidential support MV-22s.
But what capped off the day, were 5 ATAC Mirage F1s.
So, running around a hot and humid ramp, was where I was!!
OMG, best day evah! You ALWAYS get the best variations of cloud cover!!! Perfect puddle beside the C-130H with the new NP2000 props LOL!
Thanks. Yes, the summer storms have been pretty cool this year. The clouds have made for some wonderful backgrounds.
I’m literally sitting under one right now, listening to the thunder roll and echo through the valley.
Livin’ the dream bro. I’d imagine you’re a devastating White-tailed deer hunter.
When I get the shot opportunity. Hopefully this year, will be my first TN deer.
Thank you. We love it here.
Cheers and good luck.
How is it that the French have eschewed retractable refueling probes? Are they not they not the guardians of fashion?
Those props are absolutely gorgeous. Did they sound any different to the 6 blade J props?
Petwood House (1940s RAF dambusters officers mess). Watching Romeo and Juliet)
Just behind the bar tent is a genuine bouncing bomb expended into the sea during the development stage.
Late to the party but…
Not that I could tell. But the crew said the efficiency was very noticeable. The H’s get a longer life.
They came out of RAF Benson earlier.
Q400 in Livingstone, Zambia. A one hour flight from lusaka brought me there.
Did a safari, visited the Victoria falls and walked with lions. Very nice vacation here.
Cheers,

! Is that a C-5 ??
It is. The first I’ve seen in the wild outside an airshow.
