It was the Scorpions, wasn’t it?

Vroom vroom! This little thing is so cool - and really easy to operate! Even I can do it! Very smooth steering on the rubber tracks. Will definitely hire one again when I need larger amounts of soil moved to the backyard later.

And today at work, I see the ANG unit has added the F-86D to the static park. Plus their F-104

Awesome view. Scandanavia was always my favourite part of Europe - the scenery and the people.

Mix mud in a fire bucket and smear it on. I was oic guarding a new building before it had a ‘royal’ opening the next day. I had suggested doing patrols around the outside but was told that would be done by the civil police. Some loons graphited the outside during darkness. By 0800 we had it all covered up and was not noticeable. Obviously it washes off in rain. 1000 Princess Alice arrived and the centre was opened. No one noticed the abusive comments.

That’s pretty clever in a practical way.

And understandable that an infantryman’s first impulse would involve mud!

I had to drop my car off for some work, and had to get public transport back from the garage, this led to one of the scariest journeys I have had… I jumped on one of the local buses and being a total child, ran upstairs to the top deck and sat right at the front… forgetting that the route goes through Epping forest

It felt like every bloody tree was going to come through the window.

But did get a nice view after the forest

Nice photos, but why is everybody driving on the wrong side of the road?? :stuck_out_tongue:

Scary looking journey @tempusmurphy. We run 16.6 double deck trailers on my night work and it amazes me how every tree on the lanes nearby the yard are perfectly pruned in a 7 shape over the road. I always wonder what they looked like before the first decker went that way and gave them a haircut.

As for driving on the wrong side of the road, yep. You are correct. Your way works better. Completely agree.

But it only works better when you sit on our side to drive. I HATE driving left hand drive vehicles abroad. Especially lorries. Its far easier on the right. You pay more attention

Airline Captain one day, gatekeeper, the next…

I’m opening and closing a big door to earn money for my daughters soccer team. There’s a big housing exhibition in town, this weekend and preparations has commenced.
There are all sorts of odd jobs available for the local youth sports teams to increase their travel budgets, for instance.
My job is to make sure this door is closed, as much as possible, to keep the temperature in the exhibit hall from dropping too much
